5th ride after heavy accident

Bild

4th ride after heavy accident (panta rhei)

Bild

3rd ride after heavy accident

Bild
Langsam kommt man in Bewegung… Zurück zum blog…

2nd ride after heavy accident

Bild
Today with my first made to measure bike (47° Nord, Biel). From the outskirts of Solothurn via Lommiswil up towards „Kleiner Amthausplatz“. Via the „Saurierspuren“ and Oberdorf back home. Tough. I feel that I miss more than three months of biking. This year my season has started now… the very first ride a few days ago… Zurück zum blog…

1st ride after heavy accident

Bild
After almost three months of not riding a bike today I took my beloved 202 (called SoFa) for a tiny ride. Almost two hours of slowly driving through the Jura forest close to Lommiswil, also visiting the „Saurierspuren“. And yes, what I didn’t like to was how other so-called „bikers“ damage what is called nature. Bikes are bigger, faster, etc. In the same way the respect, the awareness etc. of those riding such bikes sinks. To bad. Zurück zum blog…

Jurabiking 2023: 3000 km

Bild
This very early morning time was again due to hit another milestone: 3‘000 km (since march this year and almost two months after the 2‘000 km breakthrough ). I took my beloved 101 (revolt 3), made of steel by 47° Nord (Biel). The ride started again Solothurn-West, all along river Aare towards Lengnau, climbing up to Chappeli and heading back along Jura-Südfuss towards Solothurn.

Sun, Moon & Stars (moonlight ride)

Bild
A perfect night ride into the moon as well as directly into the sun. This Friday morning starting at Solothurn-West, heading towards Lengnau along river Aare, climbing up Meinisberg and finally returning almost the same way back to Solothurn. Used my famous 101 (revolt 3), built in 2015 by  47° Nord .  One thing was amazing: the brutal noise by the nearby highway number 5. Imagine there wasn’t that highway, imagine that silence …

Jura ride Sunday afternoon (when tourists have gone…)

Bild
A perfect ride late Sunday afternoon. Most restaurants are already closed and tourists have gone. Starting at the west end of Solothurn, climbing up towards Althüsli, riding down to Binzberg (be aware of cows). Then enjoy a long and easy route towards the outskirts of Court. Have a seat and take a closer look at the landscape. Then again climb up towards Pre Richard (partly more than 12%). Once on top enjoy again a beautiful landscape (plus the silence). Slow down the speed and cruise through the forest towards Wäsmeli. Then either continue via Bettlachstöckli or take the road towards Grenchen (kind car drivers will let you overtake). Return to Solothurn via Jura-Südfuss.  Keep the trail rules in mind… others will be grateful.

Morning Ride (first real high fog)

Bild
Quick early morning ride along river Aare towards Lengnau, climbing up till Jura-Südfuss (Chappeli) heading back to Solothurn (West). No one out there. Incredible silence. A perfect start into the weekend. get in touch

Sunrise Ride (the fog is back)

Bild
An excellent morning ride before sunrise along river Aare from Solothurn towards Lengnau and back via „Jura-Südfuss“ via Chappeli and Lommiswil. Very impressive: the fog smoothly covering the meadows and slowly waving up and down. It seriously smells autumn now. Well-prepared and equipped with fresh ideas for the programming tasks of IMMO.invent. get in touch

Jura Nightride

Bild
Incredible evening with subsequent night-ride downhill the first Jura crest. Perfect weather conditions, notable windchill on top, almost clear sky and an impressive temperature rise while riding down. Tour started in Langendorf (Solothurn), through the forest towards Lommiswil, climbing up the forest road until Althüsli (Mürren). Downhill via Schauenburg, Lommiswil back to Langendorf. get in touch

Heavy dose of biking

Bild
A six-hours-ride across the beautiful Jura (first and second crest) with more than 2000 m difference in altitude and a maximum incline of 23%. Start at Langendorf (Solothurn), climbing up to Althüsli (max. 13%), first long descent towards Binzberg and Gänsbrunnen. Transfer to the basis of Mt. Raimeux, following the most steep part of the trip to the top plateau of Mt. Raimeux (23%). The plateau itself is fairly flat, helps to relax. Then the second steep descent towards the „Gorges de Moutier“ follows. Some pastures need to be crossed (be careful with the cows, keep distance). Once the „Gorges de Moutier“ have been reached, the final ascent towards the „Montagne de Moutier“ starts immediatedly (16%). On top there are several options to continue or to directly bike down towards Moutier. get in touch

Beautiful evening ride

Bild
A quick, silent and beautiful sunday evening ride starting in Solothurn, following the river Aare towards Lengnau. Then climbing up towards Chappeli and riding all the way back along the Jura-Südfuss towards Solothurn. #Jura #bike get in touch

Jurabiking 2023: 2000 km

Bild
This morning, exactly with sunrise, time was due to finally complete more than 2000 km biking #jura between april and august. Biking #jura helps a lot to get a clear mind to meet the daily #challenges…   #IMMOinvent #coding #energydata #carbonfootprint  #six2seven #bike2work #jura this morning tour I used my 202 steel-bike (frame and bike assembly by 47° Nord,    https://47grad-nord.ch/home ) equipped with a fullmechanic Pinion P1.12 (no ebike…) and a Lauf Turbo-Boost fork (deprecated).
