Gebäudeinduzierte Mobilität: eine methodische Fehlinterpretation

Sehr oft wurde und wird von einer sogenannten "gebäudeinduzierten Mobilität" gesprochen, namentlich wenn es um potentiell klimarelevante Emissionen von Gebäuden geht. Immer wieder ist feststellbar, dass es sich die sogenannte "gebäudeinduzierte Mobilität" fast ausschließlich auf Betriebs- selten bis nie auf Wohngebäude bezieht. Dabei folgt die Argumentation der These das ein (Betriebs-)Gebäude die Mobilität seiner Benutzer bedingt, konkret: ein Bürogebäude bedingt die Mobilität der Büroangestellten, ein Hotel bedingt die Mobilität der Gäste und Mitarbeitenden, ein Produktionsbetrieb bedingt ebenfalls die Mobilität der Mitarbeitenden und etwaiger Kunden. Bei Wohngebäuden ist bis anhin noch nicht von "gebäudeinduzierter Mobilität" gesprochen worden.  Was bei dieser Perspektive jedoch außer acht gelassen wird: es ist nicht das Gebäude, welches eine Mobilität (welcher Art auch immer) induziert.
