☀🌡 Warning of #heat for the very next days and a few #comfort recommendations below (personal notice, feel free to redistribute):
according to www.meteoschweiz.ch entire Switzerland will be hit by a strong heat wave (present warning valid until 2019-06-28).
⚪Maximum temperatures are likely to cross +37℃.
⚪Night temperatures won't fall below +17℃.
⚪Wind is slow (0-16 km/h, mostly E).
⚪No precipitation and air humidity is around 30-35%.

For you comfort inside buildings consider the following:
⚫switch off any electronic or electric device you don't urgently need (coffee machines, printers, etc.)
⚫open the windows of your office during night time (if there is no conflict with security aspects)
⚫close the windows not later than 07:00 a.m.
⚫make sure that the heat retention system of the air conditioning system is switched off (contact your local tech-staff)
⚫make sure that sun curtains (outside window) is closed during day time and open during night time
⚫the use of ventilators may create some sort of comfortable feeling (it cools your skin). Be aware that the engine of the fan again creates "waste heat" that may contribute to rising temperatures in your office.

⚫if your office is air conditioned place some vases filled with water. The water will evaporate thus distract heat from the surrounding air. Through the air conditioning system the water vapor (containing the "heat") is removed and the room is cooled.
⚫if your office is air conditioned or equipped with an indoor cooling ceiling don't try to reach lowest possible temperatures. You may suffer from a shock if your office is cooled down to 20 ℃ whereas outside there are temperatures close +40 ℃. It's better that you adapt your body to the outside conditions.

⚫Note: walls (mostly made of concrete) need quite a long time to be heated. However one they are heated it's almost impossible to get rid off the undesired "heat" within short.
⚫Note: in contrast to the common opinion windows of isolated buildings (Minergie, Leed, Breeam, etc.) should be opened during night time as recommended above. That provides for efficient"de-heating" of the building. The argument that the windows of such modern buildings should not be opened refers to winterly conditions but do not apply for summer time.
