4th ride after heavy accident (panta rhei)

Bild

3rd ride after heavy accident

Bild
Langsam kommt man in Bewegung… Zurück zum blog…

Jurabiking 2023: 3000 km

Bild
This very early morning time was again due to hit another milestone: 3‘000 km (since march this year and almost two months after the 2‘000 km breakthrough ). I took my beloved 101 (revolt 3), made of steel by 47° Nord (Biel). The ride started again Solothurn-West, all along river Aare towards Lengnau, climbing up to Chappeli and heading back along Jura-Südfuss towards Solothurn.

Jura Nightride

Bild
Incredible evening with subsequent night-ride downhill the first Jura crest. Perfect weather conditions, notable windchill on top, almost clear sky and an impressive temperature rise while riding down. Tour started in Langendorf (Solothurn), through the forest towards Lommiswil, climbing up the forest road until Althüsli (Mürren). Downhill via Schauenburg, Lommiswil back to Langendorf. get in touch

Heavy dose of biking

Bild
A six-hours-ride across the beautiful Jura (first and second crest) with more than 2000 m difference in altitude and a maximum incline of 23%. Start at Langendorf (Solothurn), climbing up to Althüsli (max. 13%), first long descent towards Binzberg and Gänsbrunnen. Transfer to the basis of Mt. Raimeux, following the most steep part of the trip to the top plateau of Mt. Raimeux (23%). The plateau itself is fairly flat, helps to relax. Then the second steep descent towards the „Gorges de Moutier“ follows. Some pastures need to be crossed (be careful with the cows, keep distance). Once the „Gorges de Moutier“ have been reached, the final ascent towards the „Montagne de Moutier“ starts immediatedly (16%). On top there are several options to continue or to directly bike down towards Moutier. get in touch

Schweizer Bundesrat startet Vernehmlassung zur Revision des Stromversorgungsgesetzes

Bild
Januar 2019. D...

enerMET homepage and blog redesigned

2017-10-22 ws Following numerous weeks of intensive external work (energy management), there are a few moments to continue to revise the homepage of ener MET . The menu bar has been re-arranged slightly, the former login-button has been renamed with "ener MET " and the enerMET blog doesn't show up automatically anymore (you'll need to click the respective button). The ener MET homepage is now directly accessible from various entry points at the homepage of the developer http://wolframscharnhorst.blogspot.ch . A next step the needs to be undertaken is the revision and surely a reengineering of the ener MET application. Various functions don't work properly at the moment.

Heavy snowfall after "Egon" in the Jura montains, Switzerland

Since the Thursday night (following the storm "Egon") some heavy snowfall began resulting in more than 20 cm snow coverage on average. In higher regions more than 50 cm of new snow were measured. However, the Jura mountains are not concerned with the danger of avalanches. Attention must be paid to wind slap the vicinity of rock edges.
